The second grand slam of the year is going to tick off in 5 hours time , now lets took at a preview of how the European clay court season went on for every one .

In Barcelona , Nadal beat his fellow countrymen Nicolas 6-4 6-3
In the Madrid open , it was a tournament of upsets where Novak , Roger , Murray all made early exits , Wawrinka was like the main highlight of the whole tournament where he had unstoppable run to the finals but he was stopped by king of clay .
In Rome , Roger Federer made a huge come back by reaching the final of tournament but he had again been stopped by the tracks of the king of clay " Rafael Nadal "
Again the top favourite for the tournament is Rafael Nadal , is bidding to be the first to win 8 grand slams at a particular slam event . Will it happen ? well the only man to stop in his tracks is Novak Djokovic , as he is the only man to beat Nadal on clay 3 times , Roger has 2 wins against the Spaniard on clay .
Two big players are forced to withdraw from the tournament , Andy wont be able to play due to a lower back injury and Del Potro is skipping the tournament to a virus .
Djokovic will be Looking For a Major Set - Top seed Novak Djokovic is looking to become the eighth player to complete the Grand Slam of four major titles. He reached the Roland Garros final last year (l. to Nadal).

Bedrych will also be a threat to the players as he coming out of a good clay court season .
Grigor Dimitrov will be the man to watch out who upseted the world number 1 at the Madrid open in the 2nd round and also pulled Nadal to 3 grilling sets at the Monte Carlo
Roger Federer will begin his Campaign against a qualifier , Novak will have his campaign started against David Goffin , David last year became the first lucky loser in the open Era to go on till the 4th round but lost against his Tennis Idol Roger Federer.
Nadal will play against Sergiy Stakhovsky in his first round match , Nadal could face against Lukas Rosol, who won their 2012 Wimbledon clash, or No. 27 seed Fabio Fognini in the third round.

Ruthless Nadal masters Rome
Rafael Nadal wins yet another clay courts as he literally dismantled federer to win his 7th Rome title , 6th title of the year for Rafael nadal . He won against Federer 6-1 6-3.Rafael Nadal also continues to extent his on record on ATP masters titles , he now has 24 ATP masters titles .
Set 1
Even though Roger had the smoothest opening services game , his game to go all out to Nadal never worked on bit , Roger was making allot of errors , but Rafael Nadal just went on rouge of hitting amazing passing shots having a simple minded strategy to play against Roger .
First blood of match game from the federer side of things blunder of errors allowed Nadal to break at the 4th game of the match and there on it was just him , hitting brilliant backhand winners and a sight to see .
Errors and errors were following and Nadal wrapped up the first set in just 23 minutes
Set 2
Federer had to something to turn the match around , but with Rafa there it was very tough .Nadal raced to a 3-0 lead courtesy of errors from Federer and a couple of stunning winners from Nadal . When Nadal had a chance to serve out the match at 5-1 , there came a little bit of resistance from Federer has he was able to break back Nadal . But the Nadal express just couldn't stop , he executed his game plan and he was successful at the end of the day winning an exclusive 24th ATP masters title
